Registration as a General Pharmacy Technician
Current PEI Provisional Pharmacy Technicians
The requirements for General Registration are set out in the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician Regulations.
Unless otherwise specified, all documentation must be received by the PEI College of Pharmacy in its original form or as a notarized copy. Original documents may be presented to the PEI College of Pharmacy office to be copied by staff.
Current provisional pharmacy technicians may apply for registration in the General Class by accessing the application form found in their member profile.
Completion of PEBC Qualifying Exams, Part I and II
Applicants must submit either a letter from PEBC or a certificate confirming successful completion of PEBC Qualifying exams. The letter or certificate may be uploaded to the member profile.
Completion of Post-Graduate Structured Practical Training Program
Applicants and preceptors must submit the required documentation to the PEICP office in person, by fax or by email.
Regular sittings of the jurisprudence exam are held at the PEICP office. Special sittings can also be arranged.
